Inclusions in steel Plates I-r and II f plates. Plate I-r (approximately 26 inches x 32 inches) for use with Test Method E45 includes Thin Series and Heavy Series: A-Sulfide Type; B-Alumina Type; C-Silicate Type; and D-Globular Oxide Type. Plate II (approximately 15 inches x 20 inches) is a chart for determining the inclusion content of steel (Silicate and Oxide Inclusions).
